What Strategy & Growth hands over, whichever client bought it. This one is the version Fennimore Foods runs now.
Three movements.
The challenge
The board wanted to enter three adjacent markets in one year. Each had a champion, each had a deck, and none had a contribution number that survived the plant's actual capacity.
The approach
Six weeks of margin mapping and capacity modelling. One market was worth entering; one needed a plant the firm did not have; one was a distraction dressed as growth. Two existing lines were marked exit, which freed the capacity for the entry.
The result
£12m of revenue in the first year from the one market entered, at a contribution margin above the group average, and two lines closed with no redundancies.
£12m
new revenue in the first year, two lines exited
How it was measured /
Measured as invoiced revenue in the new market's first twelve months, and contribution margin against the group's own reporting. Stated this way because a figure without its method is a claim. Ask us for the workings: we will send them.
Where it sat in the method: stage 01, 4 weeks of the 28.
Strategy & Growth is stage 01 work. Every engagement opens with the audit whichever stage it lands in, and the roadmap from that audit is what priced this one.

“They told us which two product lines to stop. Nobody had said that out loud in six years, and it was the most valuable slide in the deck.”
